What Is a Private Prediction League?

A private league is a separate Correct Score Game competition that is only available to invited players.

Instead of competing only against the full global community, you can compare your predictions with a smaller group of people you know. Each member has a position on the league table based on the points earned from their Premier League score predictions.

The scoring rules remain the same. Players receive points for exact scorelines, close and correct predictions, correct results and close misses. Those points contribute to both the private league and other eligible leaderboards connected to the player's account.

How to Create a Private League

Creating a private league is designed to be quick and simple.

1. Sign in to Correct Score Game. You need an account before you can create or join a league.
2. Open the private leagues area. Choose the option to create a new league.
3. Choose a league name. Pick something your group will recognise.
4. Create the competition. Once the league is created, an invitation code will be available.
5. Share the invitation code. Send it privately to the players you want to invite.

New members can join by entering the code while signed in to their own Correct Score Game account.

Choosing a Good League Name

A good private league name should be easy for invited players to recognise. It can be based on your workplace, friendship group, football team, family name or a long-running joke.

Keep the name suitable for the wider Correct Score Game community. Offensive, abusive or misleading league names may be removed.

Examples might include a company prediction league, a supporters' club competition or a simple name such as Saturday Football Picks. The name matters less than the rivalry that develops once the results begin arriving.

How Invitation Codes Work

Every private league has an invitation code. This code allows the league owner to control who can join.

Share the code only with the people you want in the competition. A player who receives it can sign in, open the private leagues area and use the code to join.

Invitation codes make it possible to run a private competition without making it visible to every visitor. They are particularly useful for workplaces, families and closed football groups.

League owners should avoid posting a code publicly unless they are happy for a wider group of players to request access.

Joining an Existing Private League

To join a league, you need a valid invitation code from the person running it.

1. Create or sign in to your Correct Score Game account.
2. Open the private leagues section.
3. Select the option to join a league.
4. Enter the invitation code exactly as it was shared with you.
5. Confirm your entry and check that the league appears in your account.

Once you have joined, your eligible prediction points will be shown on that league's leaderboard.

League Tables Throughout the Season

Every prediction you submit contributes towards your position in the private league leaderboard.

After each Premier League fixture has been confirmed, points are added automatically using the standard Correct Score Game scoring system. As every Gameweek finishes, the table updates to reflect each player's latest total.

League tables reward consistency across the season. One excellent weekend can move you several places, but regularly making accurate predictions is usually the key to finishing near the top.

Every member of the league can see how they compare with the rest of the group while continuing to compete on the global leaderboard at the same time.
